RC 133 1/3rd: Vinyl Frontier

Vinyl agogo!
Can you identify all the records?

See 33, see 45, see 78 GO! Tim gets  a new USB record deck and goes crazy! goes crazy! Sees jungle!

And plays 80’s tacky disco cheese instead.

Oh and a few other rekkids too from reggae to mashups to  kids songs and rave – but all from vinyl at some point.

  1. Mark is a big fan of the Tuff Turf soundtrack which has a Lene Lovich track on it. Fun podcast!

I knew I should have registered Hodge Pod as a trade mark. Oh well.

  2. Pete (W.A. Duck) says:

Excellent use of Steinski. Someday I must locate a bootleg copy of “…and the motorcade sped on.” I used to love playing that one on my college show.

  3. timbearcub says:

I have the cover 7″ with it on.

    It’s hella crackly though.

  4. Pete (W.A. Duck) says:

Y’know. About ten seconds after I posted that I thought “maybe I should do some Googling for this” and ended up there. Grabbed that and a few other gems as well.

  5. riscy says:

Great show, as ever – listening now :)

A real trip down memory lane for me.
