The direct approach works wonders, and is refreshing. Got an email from Elza from the band Saint James Society about their band. Really digging the older psych rock & psychobilly and this kind of fuzzed up / drugged up sound fits right in with my current listening. It’s not shoegaze since it’s darker and less twee (if I was an NME journo I’d probably call it ‘hellgaze’ or something 
, more of a moody Jesus and Mary Chain/MBV, almost gothabilly, thing. I hope this means there’s going to be a psych/garage/psychobilly revival, that would be ace.
Anyway enough of labels – one to watch, definitely.
