An unfinished degree piece from 1994 filmed on buses around Sheffield – partly filmed around the Meadowhall area which I know has totally changed now, a lot of those warehouses and old mesters have gone. I love the sound in this – how loud those buses were! And although not edited per se, I love the in-camera edits I did, it works as a piece if not what I was planning (a whole series/installation of bus rides).
I’d show this and similar work at Bar 2 in Psalter Lane as part of my early VJ work. I’m grabbing video off some of my old 20+ year old tapes at the moment, so expect more Ye Olde Worlde of VHSe.
