Radio Clash 99: San Francisco Pt 2 – British Backroom Boys

Sunday, November 26th, 2006

Bastard USA photo 1

This part is where I concentrate on the backroom aka the upper lounge at Bootie where Bastard USA happened, and interview nearly all of the british contingent and play bits of their sets, and one of mine – a new in-progress DjNoNo track. I recorded the whole night and you can hear the complete sets here (courtesy of Dog – thanks!).

Part 3 will appear, whenever and will most likely include the A+D interview, some location recording and the rest of the Eric Kleptone interview where we talk about SF itself.

Photos are now up on my Flickr.

Eclectic Kettle night, Bristol UK Sat 4th Nov

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

Eclectic Kettle flyer - click me!

This is by the same guys behind West of Bastard and WOBCast – deserves lots of love and they’ll be doing an eclectic set like a live version of their podcast http://www.thejuxtaposition.co.uk/wobcasts.html. If you like Radio Clash then you’ll love this.

Headlining are the Cavemen Brothers, along with the WOBcast crowd – Pete Juxtaposeur (fresh from his set at Mutant where I can vouch he was excellent, top tunes), DJ Lumpy (seen him DJ several times, always brilliant) and AndrewHerring (always plays the best tunes).

And it’s FREE! So if you’re in the area you have NO excuse…

More at their Myspace including sample tracks, and Please go give them your love, and tell them Tim sent you!

Radio Clash 85: Coming Out A Storm inc Brighton Pride report

Scott interviewing Paul and Andrew at Pride
Scott interviewing Paul and Andrew at Brighton Pride

Whipping up a storm at Brighton Pride (it was good weather actually, a metaphorical storm) with reports and random stranger interviews with Scott from the Night Nurse Show, religion, meeting Eric Kleptone, all night raves, light-sabre tent beacons and fish n’ chip drag queens…and lying naked on the beach.
It might be the end of the world, but my, my, my, it feels fine.

Radio Clash 80: Airy Hairy Fairy

    Sunday, July 16th, 2006

The 80th show is a normal show, well fairly normal with topical mix about what’s going on in Iraq, Lebanon and India; the end of Bastard @ the Asylum, Syd dying, and a airy fairy ending.
But it’s upbeat…honest! It has Bonzo Dog in it, how could it be down? ;-)

The 80′s show will happen in the next couple of shows due to paradoxical difficulties.

Radio Clash 69: Revolutionary 69 Dudes!

    Sunday, March 26th, 2006

    rome_2004_12_28_0020
“Hey Mr DJ or Miss…isn’t it time you turned 33 and a third into one Revolutionary 69?”

We hit the hi-tech groove with Elektric Cowboy, team 9 and several excerpts from Audioshrapnel’s great Last Bastard long mix…with DJ farty interuptions from the great Wayne Butane and that cnut Frenchbloke, and a new Kleptones track you won’t find on the new album, and some ol’ Anarchy in the UK with V for Vendetta.

Apologies for another long show, but since the original was over 100minutes (!) I think I’ve done well to edit it down…
